For as long as I can remember, I wanted to become a teacher. When I graduated from Seymour High School in 1998, there was no hesitation as to what I was going to college for. I graduated from UT in 2002 with my Bachelor’s degree and continued on and graduated with my Master’s in 2003.

I have been employed by Sevier County Schools since the Fall of 2005, after completing student teaching and two maternity leave positions. I have taught fifth grade for two years and spent the rest of my 10 years in fourth grade at Seymour Intermediate School. I graduated from Lincoln Memorial with my Ed.S in 2015. I’m excited about my role at Seymour Intermediate and look forward to working with our teachers, parents, and community.
