Here at Seymour Intermediate, we will be celebrating March Madness with a friendly school-wide competition between classes. Beginning March 2nd, there will be containers in the cafeteria for each homeroom class. Classes will collect money throughout March. Each week, we will eliminate classes with the lowest amounts collected. On March 27th, the TOP 3 All-Star classes that raise the most money will shoot as many baskets as they can in 5 minutes at a school-wide celebration. 

Here are the rewards:

-Top basket scoring class--teacher pies Mr. Helton, Mrs. Daniel, and Mr. Taylor! The class gets a Pizza Party! 

-The other two classes--The classes get a Popcorn Party! 


HALF-COURT COMPETITION

During breaks at the March Madness Celebration, students will have the opportunity to shoot from half-court for the chance to win $10!! Students can purchase tickets for $1 for one chance to shoot from half-court. Students who have paid will be called during the school-wide celebration.
